TEAM BIOGRAPHY
The Green Streakers of NJ Track Club, a non-profit club, was founded the spring of 1991. The club has open enrollment membership for both male and female from any area of the Tri-State Region. Our club’s policy is to provide all the tools necessary for the athlete to attain his or her goals to improve.
The
Green Streakers of NJ Track Club is an aggressive competitive
club. The club is a member of both the Amateur Athletic Union,
Inc. (AAU) and USA Track and Field, Inc. (USATF). It is active
in hosting and volunteering in both AAU-NJ Association and
USATF-NJ Association meets. Aside from this year the club
hosts a Developmental Track Series annually.
This club competes in both the AAU Junior Olympic Games Series and the USATF Junior Olympic Series. Green Streakers had numerous winners and medallist on the National, Regional and the State level. Many of the athletes past and present who accomplished some of the afore-mentioned achievements can be found in our team gallery.
The Green Streakers contracted Ron McBride,
a USATF Level II certified coach to ensure the proper development
of its athletes. Under Coach McBride’s direction the
Streakers though a small team has made a loud noise on the
local, regional and national scene, and are looking forward
to continuing to make their presence known in 2004.
In 2004 Irving Fisher, a USATF Level I certified coach, joined the staff of the Green Streakers.
